Art of the Score by The Juilliard School

Art of the Score was developed in 2021 by Dr. Edward Bilous, Director of the Juilliard Center for Innovation in the Arts. The program supports projects between Juilliard students interested in creating original music for visual media and student filmmakers from around the globe.

Film Scoring Workshop by Dr Edward Bilous

A comprehensive film scoring workshop and masterclass led by Dr. Edward Bilous, focusing on enhancing the skills of Indonesian student composers and filmmakers in music composition and film scoring.

The 17th Bali International Film Festival, in collaboration with the esteemed Asian Film Awards Academy (established in 2007 by Busan, Tokyo and Hong Kong International Film Festivals) presents the Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation showcasing six exceptional films that offer a captivating glimpse into the vibrant world of Hong Kong cinema. Balinale’s audiences will interact with the creative minds behind these films. Attend Q&A sessions with the legendary Stanley Kwan, producer of “Fly Me to the Moon,” and the film’s up-and-coming director Sasha Chuk, Wan Pin Chu, composer of “In Broad Daylight,” actress Rachel Leung, and Felix Tsang, Director (Programming & Operations) and Golden Scene Cinema Acquisitions Manager. This exciting collaboration is made possible with the support of CreateHK and Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office Jakarta.
