Iranian Film Doubt Selected for Balinale 2021

Iranian short film ‘Doubt’ has been selected for the 2021 Bali International Film Festival (Balinale) in Indonesia.

Written and directed by Ali Tasdiqi, ‘Doubt’, which will be screened at the 14th edition of the Bali filmfest, is the story of Amir and Nazi, who encounter some strange events while driving on mountainous roads.

Pejman Jamshidi, Niloufar Koukhani, and Shahram Shariat are on the cast list of ‘Doubt’.

Produced by Farhad Qadimi, the short film is Tasdiqi’s first directing experience.

‘Doubt’ has also been selected to the 4th Threadbare Mitten Film Festival that will be held on September 3-7, 2020.

The Balinale is well-known for its diverse programs that consist of award winning fiction, documentary, feature and short films.

The festival aims to bring together Indonesian and international works with a focus on creativity.

The previous editions of the event have been held in September; but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 edition will take place in May.
