Jayakartanews – Film has become a media that has benefits and major contributions to promote the world of Indonesian tourism, and Balinale is present specifically to strengthen Bali and Indonesia as a destination for making world-class films, said Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya.
This year, held on September 24-30, the Bali International Film Festival (aka Balinale) is expected to attract around 8,000 people who will have the opportunity to enjoy the best independent films in more than 40 countries in the Lippo Mall Kuta Cinemaxx Theater Official Venue Partner and Renon Plaza Denpasar. Documentary Film, Short, Featured in a variety of genres and of course a prestigious segment with the nickname World Premiere, Asean Premiere, Children’s Film, Teen Film for the latest Indonesian films and those that have not been released makes the festival highly awaited by the public.
A number of featured National Films will be present at Balinale and also the Film which has not been released in the Cinema with supporting Artists accompanying their film which will be screened at Balinale this year. International filmmakers and film artists will also be present, such as from Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, America, Australia, New Zealand and other countries. They will all stay and be spoiled by Aryaduta Bali which is Balinale’s ‘Official Hotel Partner’.
Balinale is not just a Film Festival because at the same time the appearance of Indonesian cultural diversity in films and a number of events during the festival, and this year is the 12th performance. The theme of this year’s festival is TIMELESS, the ability of films to communicate great human stories and brief moments that change the emotions of the world.
