Balinale is proud to partner with Hong Kong-based Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA) for the launch of the “Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation” in Indonesia.
The Jakarta event will present a selection of outstanding new releases that recognize Hong Kong, its established film industry, and the rich visual history. A highlight of the event will be live post screening interviews with the filmmakers. Opening Night Premiere will be attended by film professionals, noted personalities, associations, government, and community leaders.
Asian Film Awards Academy was established in 2013 by Asian Film Festivals – Busan, Hong Kong, and Tokyo – to highlight, strengthen and develop Asian film industry and culture. Through this collaboration, we aim to further support and strengthen our platforms for Asean filmmakers.
