In the solitude and despair of a best-selling author who can no longer write, Raia decides to fly to New York in search of inspiration. This city brings her together with River, a mysterious architect from Jakarta. Their encounter marks the beginning of a ‘secret’ friendship between them, even though there’s a ticking time bomb that could explode at any moment. Both River and Raia have tragedies that make them lonely souls. They have the potential to heal each other but also to hurt each other.

Teddy Soeriaatmadja

Born in Tokyo Japan Teddy Soeriaatmadja started his career with an independent film titled CULIK back in 2001. He has now made ten films including Banyu Biru, Ruang, Badai Pasti Berlalu ,Ruma Maida, Lovely Man ,Something in the way , About a woman , Menunggu Pagi, Innocent vengeance and The Achitecture of Love.

Over the Years Teddy has won numerous awards both for his films and also for his direction in numerous prestigious International film festivals . In 2011 Teddy was nominated for Best Director for his Film Lovely Man at the ASIAN FILM AWARDS 2012 . He was nominated in the same category with such celebrated and established film directors such as Ashgar Farhadi,Tsui Hark, Zhang Yi Mao, Sono Sion and Wei Te Sheng.

Known for his attention to detail, stunning cinematography and highly developed storytelling ability makes Teddy one of the most highly acclaimed filmmaker in Indonesia.
