BALINALE’S ‘Friends of the Festival’ program contributes to the Bali Taksu Indonesia Foundation, a non government, not-for-profit organization, which founded the BALINALE International Film Festival.

Since 2007, we have held a number of workshops and seminars for Indonesian students and young aspiring filmmakers including those conducted by Academy Award® nominated Jean-Pierre Dutilleux, Emmy® award nominated Les Guthman, award winning Richard Todd (GOD MADE THEM BLIND), Catherine Madigan (VERTICAL LIMIT), Salman Aristo (LASKAR PELANGI) and Didi Petet (JERMAL), Golden Globe® award winning composer Richard Horowitz (THE SHELTERING SKY) and BAFTA® award winner Davina Belling (THE GIBLET BOYS).
